Description
Our Woodland Healing Salve is a rich, warming botanical salve made with olive oil infused with Eastern White Cedar, Yarrow & Plantain, blended with beeswax, vitamin E and Black Spruce essential oil.
-Cedar: has a long history of use traditional topical use for sore, aching joints and muscles and is valued as for its warming, & stimulating actions. One of our 4 sacred medicines - honoured for both its physical and spiritual medicine.
-Yarrow: is traditionally used topically for inflammation, minor wounds, bruising and irritated skin. Also has been used externally for swollen, achy areas of the body.
- Plantain: is a beautiful skin-soothing medicine traditionally used for bites, stings, scratches and irritated or damaged skin. Known for its drawing & mucilage properties
-Black Spruce: adds a fresh woodland aroma and makes this salve especially lovely for massage over tired, achy areas.
Uses:
-Massage into sore, achy joints and muscles as needed
-Wonderful for dry, cracked or irritated skin
-Good for applying around the edges of minor scrapes to keep the surrounding skin moisturized and support the skins healing process
